Beechwood Acres is a fun family destination nestled in the wooded splendor along gorgeous Lake Cowan and is conveniently
located just a short drive from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus.
Situated next to Cowan State Park with its 1400 acres of untouched beauty, you’ll enjoy scenic hiking trails, picnic facilities, public beach, marina and boat rentals. Cowan Lake offers 700 acres of pristine water with the finest in sailing, fishing and boating opportunities.
Beechwood Acres Camping Resort offers Excellent Campsites, whether you want to park your RV or pitch a tent! All of the resort's sites offer water and electric hook-ups along with a private picnic table and fire ring. The secluded tent sites are just the ticket for the "back to basics" campers looking for a rustic getaway with the conveniences of modern facilities.
We also have rental cabins with air conditioning and refrigerator/freezers. A cottage with private entrance surrounded by trees, 2 bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, great room with gas fireplace, futon and sun room with an attached deck. It even has a hot tub!
We even have Yurts that are nestled among the trees and sleep 5.
Leashed pets are welcome to join in the camping fun, just remember to clean up after them!
Beechwood Acres Camping Resort welcomes camping groups! We offer a lighted Pavilion equipped with an extra large grill available for your gathering.
Enjoy the nearby Spillway Lodge, which offers steak, seafood and a wonderful view!
Our resort features a heated, in-ground swimming pool, a game room and new basketball and corn hole courts. We even have bike rentals available. Our onsite convenience store stocks all the camping necessities, including ice and firewood. You will appreciate our sparkling shower and laundry facilities.
Your little ones will just love a ride aboard the Beechwood Acres Express, our golf cart "train." There is also an onsite playground that will provide hours of fun.
