Fire Wood Policy
To comply with the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture Advisory against the movement of firewood, due to the Emerald Ash Borer, NO firewood may be brought into the campground. Firewood is offered for sale at a reasonable price and delivered to your campsite. Thank You for your understanding and cooperation.

Beechwood Acres Camping Resort is a favorite family destination nestled in the wooded splendor along gorgeous Lake Cowan. Located just a short drive from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus, Cowan State Park offers 1400 acres of nature's beauty. Enjoy scenic hiking trails, picnic facilities, a public beach, a marina and boat dock rentals. Cowan Lake offers 700 acres of pristine water with the finest in sailing, fishing and boating opportunities.
Beechwood Acres Camping Resort offers excellent campsites - whether you want to park your RV or just pitch a tent! All of the resort's sites offer water and electric hook-ups along with a picnic table and a fire ring. The secluded tent sites are just the ticket for "back to basics" campers looking for a rustic getaway with the conveniences of modern facilities. Leashed pets are welcome to join in the camping fun - just remember to clean up after them!
 For those who don't have (or aren't traveling with) camping equipment, we feature Rental Cabins.
Beechwood Acres Camping Resort welcomes camping groups! We offer a lighted Pavilion equipped with an extra large grill available for your gathering.
Don't feel like cookin'? Try the nearby Spillway Lodge, which offers steak, seafood and a wonderful view!
Our resort features a NEW heated, in-ground swimming pool, a NEW game room and new basketball and corn hole courts. We have bike rentals available. Our onsite convenience store stocks all the camping necessities, including ice and firewood. You will appreciate our sparkling NEW shower and laundry facilities. Your little ones will just love a ride aboard the Beechwood Acres Express, our golf cart "train." There is also an onsite playground that will provide hours of fun.
